Mrs. Anna JACKSON, 76, widow of Dr. George Allen Jackson of Browns Valley died at Culver Hospital where she had been a patient since July 14. The Jacksons were formerly of Clinton where he practiced his profession but had resided at Browns Valley for about 20 years. Dr. Jackson died Jan 27, 1944. Mrs. Jackson was born the daughter of Robert and Verlind King Caldwell Jan 27, 1870 in Boone County. She married Dr. Jackson Sept 7, 1897. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Geneva E. Shnelle, Colfax; two sons, Lawrence E. Jackson of Clinton and Robert F. Jackson of Washington DC and four grandchildren. Funeral was conducted Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Reeves Funeral Home, New Market and interment was made at Shannondale. - kbz
